BAKING BREAD AND EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES IN VENEZUELA

In Venezuela, Send Relief partners are deeply committed to empowering families in need through faith-inspired action. The Bread of Life project was initiated to meet real needs and teach parents a marketable skill to help them provide for their families. Participants are trained hands-on in bread making while being introduced to Jesus Christ, the true Bread of Life. Currently, 150 participants are embarking on a three-month course, not only learning the art of breadmaking but also discovering the spiritual nourishment found in our Savior, Jesus Christ. After successfully completing the training, each participant will receive a personal kit to continue using their new skills in a micro business at home. Your gifts make this project possible.

Finding Faith and Flour: A Bread-Making Journey

Maria had always wanted to learn to make bread but never had the resources to learn. When a local church member invited her to join a breadmaking class, she excitedly agreed. As Maria kneaded dough and absorbed the wisdom shared something remarkable happened. With each loaf that emerged from the oven, she felt not just the warmth of freshly baked bread but a newfound clarity in her understanding of Scripture. Through flour-covered hands and the aroma of rising dough, she discovered the deeper meaning of Jesus as the true Bread of Life.
